Ferrari 458 Italia, a handmade model at 1/8th Scale

This superbly detailed model of the Ferrari 458 Italia at 1:8 is approximately 60 cms long.
Hand-built by the skilled craftsmen and engineers at Amalgam Fine Model Cars, the stunning and beautiful Ferrari 458 Italia is faithfully reproduced in precise detail.
The doors of this model can be opened to fully appreciate the incredibly intricate interior detailing.
Each model is mounted on a carbon fibre base plate with a museum quality clear acrylic dust cover.
Creating the master model took around 3,500 hours of work by a small team of highly skilled modelmakers.
The master parts were then used to create moulds from which the components of each model of the limited edition of 199 were hand cast in prototyping resin.
Each individual model then took another 350 hours to finish and build to perfection. The model is available in three different colour schemes: black with a black interior, yellow with a black interior, and red with a tan interior.
